CFIA updates recall of KJ brand chicken and rice products
Products may contain milk not listed with ingredients
A recall of KJ brand Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice and KJ brand Sesame Chicken with Rice, issued Feb. 7 due to incorrect cooking instructions, has been updated due to undeclared milk.
This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.
The recall covers products sold in Ontario up to and including Feb. 7, in 450g boxes with UPC codes 6 28568 61004 4 and 6 28568 61002 0.
CFIA continues its investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
