Honey served as OPMA's director of training and development for 24 years. In a press release, Honey is credited with playing a critical role in "providing inspections for OPMA members." During this time at OPMA he conducted close to 5,000 inspections.

"Jeff’s expertise in the area of produce quality assessment is unrivalled and the OPMA is very fortunate to have had him as part of the team for the last 24 years,” said OPMA president Michelle Broom. "We wish him the very best in his retirement."
