Golden Pencil winners honoured at evening ceremony

Three individuals received the grocery industry’s highest honour last Monday night.

Longo Brothers’ Gus Longo, Lassonde’s Jean Gattuso and GS1’s Arthur Smith each received the Golden Pencil award during a ceremony at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

Golden Pencil winners are chosen for having made a significant contribution to the Canadian food industry during their career.
