New varieties of papaya, apples highlight products at Berlin show
Just weeks ahead of the opening of Fruit Logistica in Berlin, organizers of the European produce show have unveiled a list of 10 innovative products that will be on hand at the show, Feb. 4 to 6.
The products, including fruit, merchandising systems and equipment, were chosen by a panel of industry experts, says Messe Berlin, the trade group running the show.
The 10 items (featured in the slide show below) are the candidates for this year’s Fruit Logistica Innovation Award, which honours new products and services in produce "that are ready to set new trends in the marketplace." Messe Berlin says.
The winner will be announced during the show.
