Adonis’s bigger store means a bigger selection for customers in Montreal's Dollard-des-Ormeaux suburb.

The Metro-owned grocery chain, which specializes in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, relocated to a new 45,892-sq.-ft. store—18,000 more square feet of floor space than its previous location in Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

“We can offer a wider variety of products, a larger outdoor terrace and 50-seat food court, as well as a much larger parking lot,” says Michel Cheaib, vice-president and general manager at Adonis. “The new products include several varieties of quality Mediterranean pizzas cooked onsite, crêpes and fresh juices, in addition to an already abundant and varied product offer.”

The new location also offers a greater choice of exotic and local produce, a spacious nut-and-olive counter, a large selection of fresh and marinated meat cuts, a seafood counter, fresh cheese, and bread baked in-store. It also features a counter of Middle Eastern and French cakes and pastries, as well as an organic products section. The relocation doubled the size of the counter for hot food and grilled meats.
