BrandSpark International is using Amazon to add an ecommerce perk to the Best New Product Awards.
The new initiative will see nominee products for BNPA presented at a showcase page at Amazon.ca.
BrandSpark referred to the BNPAs as “Canada’s leading consumer-voted awards program for everyday products.” Brands submit their new products to the BNPAs and more than 10,000 Canadians vote for the winners.
Visitors to BestNewProducts.ca will see a link to the Amazon showcase and can take a survey for the chance at a $1,000 gift card.
The new showcase page is also being promoted through an online media campaign and outdoor through Outfront Media’s digital network in Toronto.
“BrandSpark has responded to meet the evolving needs of both shoppers and marketers in this new world of ecommerce with the creation of the Best New Product Awards Amazon Product Showcase,” said Robert Levy, president of BrandSpark International, in a release.
In its most recent Ecommerce Shopper Study, BrandSpark found 90% of Canadians shop online, with most shopping online several times per month and 85% looking for consumer reviews to help make their purchase decision.
“Our new BNPA Amazon Product Showcase will allow Canadians to learn about, find and buy the new products they really want while saving money and time because they will learn from other consumers by finding ratings and reviews all in one place.”
