Billionaire Gates way off the mark on the price of some food items
It may come as no surprise that Bill Gates hasn't cruised the aisles of his local grocery store in quite some time.
So, it was even less surprising how off the mark he was when talk show host Ellen Degeneres asked him to guess the prices of grocery staples such as floss and frozen pizza rolls during a recent visit to her show.
How much for a box of Rice-A-Roni? Gates guessed $5 but the correct answer was $1. "I'll take five," he joked.
