Dehydrated mango product recalled over undeclared sulphites
Consumer complaint sparks recall of I'm Real brand in three provinces
Uncle T Food is recalling I'm Real brand Dehydrated Premium Mango because it contains sulphites not declared on the label.
The recall was sparked by a consumer complaint, and affects 300-gram packages with UPC 8 850026 212138 sold in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which it said could lead to the recall of other products.
