Expanded recall: Te Chang Food brand tofu products
Government agency expands recall from one to six provinces
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has expanded a recall of Te Chang Food brand tofu products issued Jan. 10 to include multiple provinces.
The initial recall of Tofu Tranches – saveur de barbecue and Satay Sauce Bean Curd products was addressed to British Columbia. It now includes Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. Click here for full product information.
The recalled products contain peanut and sesame, which are not declared on the label. The CFIA says there have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
