GreenSpace Brands -- the Toronto-based company that develops, markets and sells such brands as Rolling Meadow Dairy, Nudge and Holistic Choice pet food -- announced that its chief financial officer Keith Jackson is resigning.

Jackson, whose last day is May 26, is returning to the private equity space, according to a press release. Cindy Leung, GreenSpace's vice-president of finance, will serve as interim CFO as the company searches for Jackson's permanent replacement.

Leung joined GreenSpace in November 2015 and acted as interim CFO during a period in 2017. Prior to joining GreenSpace, Cindy had more than ten years of experience in public accounting, assurance and tax.

"We thank Keith for his contributions and wish him success on his future endeavours," said Matthew von Teichman, CEO of GreenSpace Brands, in the release. "I also want to thank Cindy for agreeing to step back into the CFO role on an interim basis to ensure a seamless transition – we're fortunate to have someone of her caliber and experience on the team."

Von Teichman went on to say that in the last year, GreenBrands had completed three acquisitions and "more than doubled our revenue run rate, greatly expanding the scale and opportunities for our business."
