Kraft Heinz fills newly created business development role

Bruno Keller joins the Toronto-based company from its operations in Italy

Kraft Heinz Canada has hired Bruno Keller
as its head of business development — a newly created role within the company — to “strengthen the partnership between brand building, innovation, sales and operations teams.”

Keller spent the past three years as managing director of Kraft Heinz Italy where he relaunched the infant food portfolio, in addition to growing the sauces business by triple digits, according to the company.

“Bruno brings unique insights to our team as a sales and marketing leader,” said Carlos Piani, president of Kraft Heinz Canada, in a press release announcing the hire. “He will help our internal and external partnerships and make us a more effective organization.”

Reporting to Keller is Vince Vetere, head of the cheese sector; Fed Arreola, head of the grocery sector; and Graeme MacDonald, head of the coffee sector.
