Kruger Products announced Tuesday morning that its chief marketing officer Nancy Marcus will retire March 1. Marcus will be replaced by former Pepsi executive Susan Irving.

Marcus joined Kruger Products in 2001 as vice-president of marketing and was appointed to CMO of North America in May 2018.

In her time at Kruger, Marcus has launched dozens of products, developed cutting-edge marketing campaigns and has overseen key rebrands. By putting the consumer first, Marcus has been credited with revolutionizing the marketing and culture at Kruger.

"Nancy has achieved many accomplishments and received numerous accolades throughout her career, and will be best remembered for her leadership and strategic brand transition resulting in the launch and significant growth of Cashmere and SpongeTowels, two of Canada's most loved tissue brands, said Dino Bianco, chief executive officer of KPLP, in a press release.

Irving comes to the role with more than two decades of industry experience, having held senior roles at Warner Lambert, Coca-Cola and most recently, PepsiCo Foods Canada where she was senior marketing director for the Quaker Nutrition portfolio.
