Loblaw creates iPad recipe app
Loblaw’s has launched an iPad app for its President’s Choice brand.
The “Recipe Box” app, as it’s called, has 700 recipes created by President’s Choice chefs, with photos, video and instructions.
It’s available for free from the App store on iPad or at the iTunes store. It is Loblaw’s first app created specifically for the iPad, Apple’s popular new tablet computer.
“The President’s Choice Recipe Box app brings to life our extensive collection of recipes in an easy-to-use, highly interactive format,” Allan Lindsay, vice-president of marketing for Loblaw Companies, said in a statement. “The app makes it simple for busy families to create inspired and tasty meals with ingredients found at local Loblaw banner stores.”
This is the first app Loblaw has created for shoppers. The company has no iphone-specific app.
Loblaw created the iPad app with Intelliware Development Inc., a Toronto-based software company.
