Marshmallow treats recalled over allergen concerns
Marshmallow Brooms and MallowBats may contain milk not listed with ingredients
Original Foods is recalling its Marshmallow Brooms and MallowBats because they may contain milk that is not declared on the label.
Sold nationally, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says Marshmallow Brooms with UPC 0 67924 69743 3 and 0 67924 00515 3, and MallowBats with UPC 0 65571 63556 3 should not be consumed by people with an allergy to milk.
CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
