New president at Coca-Cola Canada

Coca-Cola Refreshments confirmed the appointment of John Guarino as president, Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada.
Guarino succeeds Kevin Warren, who has joined The Coca-Cola Company’s Bottling Investments Group (BIG) as regional director for Russia, Middle East and Africa.

“John Guarino has a strong track record of driving profitability and strengthening our operations across diverse regions over his 15 year career with the Company,” said Steve Cahillane, president and CEO of Coca-Cola Refreshments. “As we continue to grow our business in Canada, we will greatly benefit from his leadership and expertise.”

Guarino most recently held the position of regional director for the Bottling Investment Group, where he managed diverse bottling operations on three continents and was heavily engaged in the integration of the recently acquired Nidan juice company in Russia.

He joined the Coca-Cola Company in 1997 in Bahrain, and has proven his executive leadership across Europe, the Middle East and Africa developing business strategies and delivering results.

“There is no better time to be joining the strong and talented team that drives the business for Coca-Cola Canada,” said Guarino.   “I look forward to helping secure our mission to be the best brand, sales and customer service business in Canada.”
