Virgina Zimm will take on role as Ian MacKenzie retires

Virgina Zimm has been hired as president of the Ontario Produce Marketing Association. She will succeed Ian MacKenzie, who will retire at the end of this year.

Zimm (pictured) was previously president at Faye Clark Communication, a communications and marketing agency specializing in food and beverage.

A member of Canadian Produce Marketing Association for 20 years, Zimm said in a release that "produce is my passion."

"I can’t think of a better way to support this industry than by offering my experience to build an event stronger marketing support organization for every member of the value chain," she added.

Zimm will work alongside MacKenzie beginning in September, taking on her duties as president in January.
