Oreinos Mylopotamos brand cheese recalled
Government agency says recalled product sold in Ontario and Quebec may contain listeria
MFG Distribution is recalling a cheese product over fears of listeria contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says the recall was triggered by test results. It covers Oreinos Mylopotamos brand Cretan Dry Mizythra sold in Quebec and Ontario in 1.45-kg packs.
The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation and says there have been no “illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.”
