Recall on Butcher’s Selection brand chicken burgers updated

Erie Meat Products is updating its recall of Butcher’s Selection brand Stampede Chicken Burgers to include additional markets.

Issued March 16, the initial warning included 1.4-kilogram boxes with UPC code 8 29810 93280 2 sold in Ontario and Quebec. It has since been extended to cover New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edwards Island.

This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results, which continues to investigate.

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product.
