Costco granted exclusive interview with Stephen Harper

Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who is notorious for avoiding the media, surprised many by granting a sit-down interview with Costco's former Canadian country manager, Louise Wendling.

The article appeared in the March/April issue of Costco Connection – a lifestyle magazine geared at Costco members. Unfortunately it looks like Harper wasn't front page material–designer guru Sarah Richardson took the coveted cover spot.

In the interview, Harper answers three questions related to family taxation, small business tax credits, and the upcoming Canada-European Union Trade Agreement.

The interview has garnered more than a few raised eyebrows, as well as the attention of Rick Mercer. The Canadian comedian poked fun at the article on his show, The Rick Mercer Report, Tuesday evening.
