If you're stuck at home because of food poisoning, Toronto Public Health wants to know about it.

The organization has set up a website called GastroBusters where users can report their symptoms anonymously and confidentially.

According to Toronto Public Health, only 0.5 per cent of food poisoning is officially reported.

If more cases are reported, the department can get a better handle on the cause of a foodborne illness and help prevent a second wave of patients.

Questions include a patient's symptoms, location and age and gender.
