Kroger shoppers want gun ban

Advocacy group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is strengthening their campaign against supermarket giant Kroger. The moms launched a campaign last month pressuring Kroger to ban the open carry of firearms in its stores. The campaign was complete with boycotts, petitions and a series of of provocative digital and print ads. The group has added a 300,000-signature petition to their arsenal, as well as a poll that was released yesterday by the Benenson Strategy Group. According to teh poll, 64% of shoppers in states allowing gun owners to carry their weapons in public want Kroger to prohibit open carry in their store. The moms plan to picket Kroger's annual investor relations meeting with the petition and poll. Read the full story here.
