Over 200 food and grocery executives came together on Monday for Canadian Grocer’s fifth annual Thought Leadership CEO Conference.

Sessions tackled the future of Canada’s grocers, discussing new and innovative approaches to offering services in this sector.




























Keynote addresses from Mitch Joel, president of Mirum and Nilam Ganenthiran, VP of business development and strategy at Instacart, tackled issues that grocers can expect to face in the future, while one-on-one interviews with Jeff York, CEO of Farm Boy and Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarkets, uncovered challenges grocers are facing right now.

Carman Allison, VP of consumer insights with Nielsen Canada, gave attendees a fresh perspective on how to reinvigorate centre store sales, presenting new data for Canadian grocery industry’s thought leaders to apply to their own stores.

The afternoon conference concluded with a reception sponsored by Dairy Farmers of Canada.
