No Name’s Twitter account has been garnering positive attention since it went live earlier this summer. And now, the brand has popped up on another digital media platform: YouTube.
The Loblaw-owned private-label brand has published a series of spots that mirror the simplicity of its tweets. For instance, one 7-second spot for Smooth Peanut Butter says both the product and the ad were made without hydrogenated oils. A similar approach was taken to promote the brand’s ketchup chips.
And, a 20-second “viral cat video” featuring a number of No Name brand products (and, of course, a Persian cat) is making good on its title. It has been viewed more than 1.2 million times since it was published to the video site Sept. 5.
