Ecoideas cake and pancake mixes recalled
Products were sold nationally and may contain salmonella bacteria
Ecoideas is recalling three of its mixes because they may contain salmonella bacteria.
The recalled products have been sold nationally in 454-gram boxes in three varieties: Chocolate Cake Mix (UPC 8 75405 00243 6), Brown Rice Pancakes Mix (UPC 8 75405 00242 9) and Buckwheat Pancakes Mix (8 75405 00241 2)
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased. The government agency is conducting a food safety investigation, and will keep the public apprised of any changes.
