A consumer complaint has sparked a
recall of Daesang brand rice seasoning mixes sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The recalled product may contain egg that is not declared on the ingredients list.

The recall covers 24-gram packs of Boc Rice (UPC 8 801052 404028), Seafood Rice Sprinkles (8 801052 724874), Beef Rice Sprinkles (8 801052 724850) and Vegetable Rice Sprinkles (8 801052 724867).

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
