Mother Raw raises US$6.1 million in series A funding

Mother Raw has secured some fresh funding.

The Toronto-based maker of organic, plant-based, cold-blended dressings, dips marinades, condiments and quesos, has closed its $6.1M USD Series A financing round.

The round of funding is led by Forage Capital Partners, alongside Export Development Canada (EDC) and existing investor Whitecap Venture Partners.

The funding will be used to accelerate growth across North America, according to a press release. Mother Raw plans to expand its distribution footprint, increase R&D efforts, and amplify marketing and sales initiatives. Mother Raw is currently available in more than 3,700 stores across North America.
