Flow Water launches in-store marketing program

‘From Canada with Love’ offering two grand prizes of a wellness retreat
6/20/2017

Flow Water has introduced an in-store promotion celebrating both Canada’s 150th and its Ontario water source.

The “From Canada with Love” campaign is taking place in retail locations including Loblaws and Sobeys, and features a peel-off sticker located on Flow’s Tetra Pak containers. Each sticker features a unique promo code directing consumers to a dedicated website, where they input the code and their email address to enter the draw.

The contest features two grand prizes consisting of the “ultimate Canadian wellness retreat,” along with 1,000 vouchers for a 1L Flow Water product.

Flow Water founder and CEO Nicholas Reichenbach says nearly three-quarters of the company’s marketing takes place via retail channels. The product is currently available at some 4,500 stores across Canada including Whole Foods, Loblaws, Rexall, Ontario and Quebec Metro stores.

Reichenbach says his two-year-old company has made a “remarkable impact” with both natural grocers and conventional grocery. It is also beginning to make inroads in the gas and convenience sector, which Reichenbach describes as a “growing wellness marketplace.”

The company also recently introduced “grab and go” cases of 6 x 500ml and 1L products.

Flow Water is sourced from a family-owned spring in Ontario’s Bruce County, and is positioned as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional bottled water. The company also recently opened a 21,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing plant in Aurora, Ont.
