Shore Lunch brand fish breading/batter mix recalled

Shore Lunch brand fish breading/batter mix -- original recipe and cajun style -- has been recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.

The recalled products were distributed nationally and carry best before dates of Jan. 17, 2018.

The recall was triggered by a recall in another country. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
