Save-On Foods, More Rewards name 60 local athletes to ambassador team

Local athletes across 30 sports will receive funding as part of a $10-million program

Who: Save-On-Foods and loyalty program More Rewards

What: More Rewards and Save-On-Foods unveiled its ambassador team of more than 60 local athletes from across Western Canada who will receive funding through the partnership’s $10-million community sports program.

The roster includes Olympic and Pan-Am medalists, Canadian record-holders and Paralympians, as well as local club, university, and aspiring provincial team members.

These athletes, selected from hundreds of online applications and representing more than 30 sports, include:

  • Emily Rolfe (CrossFit)
  • Matt Dunstone (Curling)
  • Noel Vanderzee (High Jump)
  • Amanda Rummery (Para-Athletics)
