CFIA updates recall of Lotte brand biscuits
Additional product information uncovered during CFIA investigation
The Canadian Food
Inspection Agency has updated a national recall of Lotte brand Kancho Choco Biscuit to include additional product information.
An initial recall was issued Feb. 13 because of peanut not declared on the label. The recall, which included 42-gram packages of Kancho Choco Biscuit with UPC code 8 801062 144815, now covers 95 gram and 168-gram packages with UPC codes 8 801062 516858
and 8 801062 245055, respectively.
The recall was triggered by consumer complains, and reactions associated with the consumption of these products have been reported.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency continues to investigate.
