 An Indian entrepreneur is selling “untouchable” foods
Chandra Bhan Prasad, a resident of New Delhi, has launched an online company called “Dalit Foods” that sells spices, pickles and rains. Prasad was born into the Dalit Pasi community of pig rearers in North India, and considered untouchable in the ancient Hindu social hierarchy. The Indian entrepreneur is selling these foods in an effort to challenge caste bias.
