Kellogg Company makes leadership changes

6/11/2018

Kellogg Company has made leadership changes in North America and Europe to "help drive the company's growth strategy" in those markets.

Chris Hood, the current president of Kellogg Europe, has been named president of the company's North American business. Hood will report to chairman and chief executive officer Steve Cahillane, and will oversee U.S. Morning Foods, U.S. Snacks, U.S. Frozen Foods, U.S. Specialty Channels, Kashi and Canada. He replaces Paul Norman who left the company earlier this year.

Hood joined Kellogg in 2012 when it purchased the Pringles chip brand from Procter & Gamble, a company he worked at for 19 years.

"In recent months, I've had the opportunity to spend more time with the Kellogg North America businesses, and I am confident that they are on firm strategic and financial footing. Chris is the right person to build on the progress the team has made," said Cahillane in a press release announcing the appointments.

Replacing Hood as president of the European division is Dave Lawlor, who is currently the vice-president, European cereal business.

Both leadership changes take effect July 1.
