Listeria concerns spark Bio Busti brand cheese recall
Food inspection agency says impacted product was sold in Quebec
La Cie d'Investissements Côté is recalling Bio Busti brand Pecorino Stagionato cheese sold in Quebec over Listeria concerns.
The recall covers various sizes of Pecorino Stagionato cheese--with raw milk with product code L18180540 0203046.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it is not aware of any reported illnesses associated with eating the cheese. The government agency is conducting a food safety investigation, which it says may lead to the recall of other products.
