Pusateri's closing its Oakville, Ont. location

Pusateri's Fine Foods is closing its Oakville location at the end of the year.

The Ontario-based gourmet grocer made the announcement in an email to customers sent Tuesday afternoon, followed by posts on its social media channels. "We have truly appreciated the opportunity to share our wonderful foods and shopping experience with the Oakville community and would like to express our gratitude to our valued guests and the business community for all their support," it said.

The email also said Pusateri's would provide a "smooth and fair" transition to store employees impacted by the closure.





The Oakville store opened July 2016 and, at the time, was the high-end grocer's only location outside of Toronto. It has since opened Saks Food Hall by Pusateri’s at Sherway Gardens Mall in Etobicoke. With the closing of the Oakville store, Pusateri's will have five locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
