RXBAR recalls protein bars for undeclared peanuts
Company says products were sold online and possibly at retail
RXBAR is recalling some of its
protein bars because they may contain peanuts not listed on the label.
The impacted products have been sold online (Amazon.ca, rxbrands.ca, and possibly other websites) and possibly at retail in blueberry (8 59162 00761 3, 8 59162 00760 6); chocolate sea salt (8 59162 00759 0, 8 59162 00758 3) and coconut chocolate (8 59162 00765 1, 8 59162 00764 4).
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. It says there have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products in Canada.
