Sobeys announces Ontario leadership changes

Bill McEwan, president and CEO, Sobeys Inc. has announced that David Jeffs, president of operations, Ontario region, will be leaving the company to "pursue more personal goals."

Jeffs had been in the position for two-and-a-half years; his last day is Aug. 12.

Paul Del Duca, senior vice-president & general manager, Sobeys banner, will on an interim basis, assume additional responsibility for Sobeys' Ontario operations.

McEwan added: "We will continue to drive our business forward in pursuit of our goal to be widely recognized as the best food retailer in Canada."
