Tree of Life and Numage Trading merge

Tree of Life Canada has merged with Numage Trading, a Concord, Ont.-based importer and distributor of Italian speciality food products.

Founded by Gesualdo Mastruzzo in 1981, Numage Trading has grown its product assortment to  more than 35 brands including Rustico, Madeo and Verona.

“We are proud to add such strong new team members and brands to the Tree of Life portfolio and look forward to the brands’ growth with the access they now have to all of Canada with Tree of Life’s national sales, marketing and distribution services,” said Jamie Moody, president at Tree of Life Canada, in a press release announcing the merger.

The companies will integrate over the coming months, and Numage will continue to operate out of its facility in Vaughan, Ont. until further notice.
