Haagen-Dazs debuts veggie ice cream flavours in Japan

'Tomato Cherry' and "Carrot Orange" first flavours to be released
4/21/2014

In a new twist on parents tricking their kids to eat their vegetables, Haagen-Dazs Japan has announced plans to sell vegetable-flavoured ice cream next month. The company will release two flavours — Tomato Cherry and Carrot Orange. These are the first products to be released from Haagen-Dazs "Spoon Vege" series. These flavours have half the fat of a normal pint of Haagen-Dazs ice cream, making it the healthier alternative. While the product is slated for release on May 12 in Japan, there has been no mention of the product launching in Canada or the U.S.
