Where's the beef in U.S.? It's second to chicken

With concerns over health, and pricing, chicken is more popular than beef in the U.S.

For the first time in over a century, Americans are eating more chicken than beef, according to a report by Priceonomics.

As consumers look for healthier options and with the increase at the till for beef, the per capita chicken consumption in the U.S. has risen from under 20 lbs in 1909 to about 60 lbs in 2012.

In today's time pressed environment, consuemrs are also picking up more chicken as it's easier to cook, compared to the meat relative.
