Becel and Gordon Ramsay whip up dairy-free eats

Brand debuts “Skip the Cow” ad campaign in partnership with celebrity chef

Becel is partnering with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay to showcase the power of the brand’s Plant Butter.

The new ad campaign, “Skip the Cow,” has been rolled out nationally on television, Meta, YouTube and in grocery store channels across the country.

Becel will work with Ramsay to illustrate the potential of its products in the kitchen, as the chef puts the brand’s lineup to the test in chocolate cake, risotto and pancakes.

"I believe in good, honest cooking with quality ingredients, and I can genuinely say Dairy Free Becel Plant Butter has blown me away,” Ramsay said in a press release. “From scrambled eggs to chocolate cake, I have put the product through its paces. I would encourage home cooks to make the switch, try it for themselves and see what they can create!"

Mandy Au, head of marketing, Flora Food Canada Inc., added that the campaign represents a “bold step forward” for Dairy Free Becel Plant Butter. 

"I couldn't be prouder to announce our new 'Skip the Cow' campaign featuring the iconic Gordon Ramsay,” Au added. “Gordon's passion for exceptional food aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and to offer dairy free alternatives that don't compromise on flavour or performance.
