What: The Alberta-based independent grocery chain has donated $72,978 to the University Hospital Foundation.

The contribution included Freson Bros.’ role as the Presenting Sponsor of Heart Month, an annual initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for heart health.

As part of this initiative, the grocer’s customers across all 16 locations donated $1 at the tills.

The funds raised will directly support the University Hospital Foundation’s Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.

The company is grateful to its customers and Team Members who come together to make initiatives like this possible.”
