Healthy Planet’s Healthy Days event returns with support for Canadian brands

Healthy Planet is putting a patriotic spin on its annual Healthy Days event.

Earlier this year, the retailer launched its #HealthyCanadianSwap campaign highlighting local brands and businesses across food, supplements, beauty and home care.

This year’s Healthy Days event—running May 29 to June 1—will see a renewed push for homegrown goods.

During the event, shoppers will find discounts ranging from 10 to 60%. Healthy Planet will also award 10 customers with a $1,000 travel voucher.

Over 50 bonus prize winners will win $200 in Healthy Points plus a personalized health consultation.

Additionally, the first 50 customers daily will receive an exclusive gift bag.

Local brands are marked in-store with red maple leaf tags and searchable online using the retailer’s new “Canadian” filter.

“As summer approaches, Canadians are actively seeking healthier, more sustainable alternatives, and many are looking to support local while they do it,” said Muhammad Mohamedy, general manager of Healthy Planet, in a press release. “Healthy Days is our way of kicking off the season with purpose: helping Canadians find great deals on quality wellness products while championing the incredible Canadian brands that are shaping the future of health.”
