The Kruger Big Assist program helps provide financial assistance to Canadian hockey families, removing barriers to Canada’s game and giving more kids the chance to participate.

What: The paper manufacturer has announced the North Halton Girls Hockey Association as the 2025 Grand Prize winner of this year’s Kruger Big Assist Program.

The announcement follows Kruger’s $25,000 donation to five minor hockey associations across Canada: Kimberley Minor Hockey Association in British Columbia, Leduc Minor Hockey Association in Alberta, AHM St-Léonard in Québec and Straits Minor Hockey in Newfoundland and Labrador. 

Ontario-based North Halton Girls Hockey Association will receive an additional $75,000.

"On behalf of Kruger Products, we're proud to name the North Halton Girls Hockey Association as this year's Kruger Big Assist grand prize winner and award them with a total of $100,000 to continue making hockey more accessible for local families," said Susan Irving, CMO of Kruger Products, in a press release.
