Cullen’s Farms in London, Ont. underscores this trend with the launch of its certified organic navy beans, kidney beans and black beans. Each 540-mL can has a lot code that the company says allows customers to trace the beans back to the farm. Customers can find out who grew the product, when it was harvested, and where it was packed.
