Thomas, Large and Singer has a new president

David Singer has been promoted from senior vice-president to president of Thomas, Large and Singer (TLS). He replaces Peter Singer, who will now serve as chairman of the Toronto-based company.

Singer (right) is the fourth member of his family to be named president of TLS. He joined TLS seven years ago as director of business development. Prior to joining TLS, Singer worked at Pepsi Bottling Group, Acosta, Kimberly-Clark and Procter & Gamble.

To assist Singer in his new role, Anthony Carter has been promoted to chief client officer. In this role, Carter will lead Business Management while continuing to oversee Transportation, Replenishment and Customer Service.
