Canada’s first No Frills Plus store opened its doors in Brampton, Ont. Thursday (Sept. 28).

Adil’s No Frills Plus promises to offer the Loblaw discount banner’s standard fare with the addition of an expanded service offering.

Located at 85 Steeles Ave W, the store will feature Joe Fresh, Theodore and Pringle Optical, PC Financial services and PC Mobile, along with a selection of food and general merchandise.

It will be the first No Frills in Canada to offer PC Express home delivery and curbside order pickup.

“From our vastly expanded multicultural product selection throughout the store to our fresh seafood and take-home rotisserie chickens and samosas, there’s something for everyone here, regardless of their taste preferences,” said Adil Muhmmad, store owner, in a statement. “This opening is an innovative way for our customers to shop, with a focus on value and convenience that won’t be beaten, and we’re excited to welcome the community to see what we have in store.”

As part of the opening ceremony, Adil’s No Frills Plus presented a $1,000 donation to Knight’s Table. MP Sonia Sidhu was also in attendance.
