PriceSmart Foods opened its first store in the City of Vancouver this week.

Formerly a Nesters Market, the new PriceSmart Foods opened its doors on Thursday (May 8).

The same Nesters Market team members will continue to run the supermarket, including store manager David Jordan.

Located at 288 E Broadway, the new PriceSmart Foods offers traditional Western and Asian grocery products, including fresh local and international produce, specialty meats and seafood, snacks, ingredients and meals to go.

“We are so excited to complete the conversion from Nesters Market to PriceSmart Foods to better serve our diverse neighbours in Vancouver,” said Jamie Nelson, president of Pattison Food Group, in a press release. “Customers will find the best of Asian cuisine with service from the same great team members they know and love."
