Food X Technologies, a software solution for online grocery fulfillment, has partnered with French supermarket and retail operator Carrefour Group to accelerate its e-commerce capabilities.
To start, Carrefour will introduce the Food X platform–online ordering, automated fulfillment and home delivery–next year to the Belgium market, where it’s also building a central fulfillment centre.
In a press release, both companies said it would consider expanding the partnership to other markets following the test in Belgium.

Carrefour Group has a network of more than 12,000 stores in more than 30 countries, with more than 320,000 employees.
