CFIA warns the product could be contaminated by salmonella
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning grocery retailers not to sell or use Sunsprout brand Micro - Greens Alfalfa & Radish in any of its products because of possible salmonella contamination.
The warning covers Micro - Greens Alfalfa & Radish sold in 100-gram containers with UPC 0 57621 13512 3. It was triggered by CFIA test results, and has promoted a food safety investigation.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with this product.
