Who: T&T Supermarket

What: The grocer has made a $20,000 donation to United Way British Columbia’s Kapwa Strong Fund in support of those impacted by the tragedy at Vancouver’s Lapu Lapu Day Festival in April.

In-store donations raised $10,000, which T&T matched, bringing the total to $20,000.

One hundred per cent of funds will support increased mental health services, community healing grants and basic needs for those impacted, the grocer shared on Instagram Thursday (May 22).

“We thank our customers once again for their compassion, kindness, and incredible support. T&T stands with the Filipino community—now and always,” the post reads.
